It would seem I was...data frozen. That is what Goblimon told me it was called. It seems others were affected by this as well. It seems to be a reoccurring phenomenon in this world. Though it leaves people vulnerable, it seems most see it as an inconvenience. Perhaps there is a way to predict when it is going to occur, so that one may have time to get themselves to a safe location.

Perhaps I will look into this further.

An item to note would be that while frozen you are impervious to actual harm...though I wouldn't want to test the theory myself.

Interesting. It would seem one is in a state of limbo, or a similar state. I still wish to see if predicting a freeze is possible. The possibilities for such knowledge are great. It would be helpful for those who have run into the more violent hostiles or have hostiles after them.

Agreed. To further help your research I have observed that at times when a great number of people are reported frozen on the comms sometimes there is a correlation to who is frozen. For example there is a gentlemen named Noir Mendetta who I keep tabs on for other reasons...*Ahem* It seems that almost every time he's reported frozen on the D-comm system I only find out about it once he's unfrozen...because I'm frozen at the same time!

Very interesting. Perhaps there is some sort of...data correlation between freezing sessions. Perhaps some small piece of data that is put into people randomly upon arrival. It is one hypothesis. Perhaps we can find others with such correlations.

It's worth a shot. I would suggest browsing the network to amass a list of who was frozen and when, it's not a foolproof plan unfortunately because we can't count for the people who's freezings weren't announced.

That is true. To accumulate a more complete list, I could ask those who were frozen to tell me when and for how long over an open network post. Perhaps some will come forward and tell me. I could let them know it is for research concerning freezing and the effect it has on us here.
