[The video comes on to show Tenenbaum sitting on a couch, cigarette in hand, looking somewhat tired. She sighs as she takes a drag and blows the smoke out to her left.]

I have decided to move out of the Hyperion. Mr. Lucas is in need of my attention und I wish to be close to him. I will miss those in the inn und will keep in contact. Do contact me on the D-Comm if you need me.

[And here comes Ogremon carrying a large box of stuff across the room.]

Put it in the corner with the others. I do not know where to put my belongs yet. [There is a grunt for an answer and Ogremon leaves.]

That is all.

[She takes hold of the D-Comm and turns off the camera.]

...I wanted to be the one to bring Kats back though. Instead that girl from DATS took him while some weird thing was attacking me.

It started off looking like someone in a hoodie, then it had orange and white armor and drills for hands. And it had some kinda missile launcher things in its shoulders and legs. It looked like a person but it wasn't, cuz it didn't smell alive. It smelled like there was someone there but not like there was someone there too.

[It description was strange but did sound somehow familiar to Tenenbaum. Something strange was going on here. Why would someone fight Apollo for Kats?]

Yeah. I got hit a few times but I just slept it off and I was okay.

[And by "slept it off" he means "slept through the rest of the day and part of the next".]

You truly are amazing, Apollo. Able to sleep off attacks from bombs and drills.

[She did care for the boy but her inner scientist's interest was piqued. He would be someone truly fascinating to study. But she wouldn't ask that of him.]

Yeah. I think part of it was that "Digi...soul?" stuff shielding me.

From what I have learned, you control digisoul with your emotions. The stronger the emotions, the stronger the digisoul.

I tried to remember how I felt when I used it but nothing happened. Maybe it's like Aquarion. Sophia said the reason I had a hard time with the simulator was cuz I knew it wasn't real, so maybe I can only use Digisoul in a real fight.

Perhaps but that will make training difficult for you. You will need real life danger to practice your abilities.

I am unsure what that means but was it not dangerous to do so? Lack of information or practice can get you killed.

[Tenenbaum turns to face Apollo. She walks over, leaving the food to itself for a moment. She gives him a hug, remembering what she told him about his thoughts on why he was here. She feels for her little one.]

[He doesn't return the hug, but he does kind of lean into it in response.]

[She didn't expect a return but she was happy he leaned into it a bit. He was a good boy, she knew that much. Just rough around the edges.]

Do not do anything too reckless now. Who will I cook for if you get yourself killed?

[She finally lets him go and nods. She's glad he says he won't but this world is a dangerous one. Then again, it seemed everyone world they all came from were dangerous as well. Perhaps she should have more confidence in him but she is still worried. She goes back to the counter and starts to cook again.]

I said there's nothing to be worried about, so stop worrying.
